The Southeast Asia premier gaming convention, GameStart 2018 will return in October 2018.
GameStart is one of the biggest gaming events in Southeast Asia region. Last year, it successfully set a new record with more than 20,000 gamers and esports enthusiasts participated.
Recently, Eliphant as the organizer announced that GameStart 2018 will be held again in Singapore, October 3 and 4, 2018! Suntec Convention Centre, Singapore will also be the venue for this 5th event.
Visitors can look forward to a weekend full of fun activities and games across multiple platforms such as PC, mobile, console, and tabletop. The same activities held last year received big success and positive feedbacks. Esports, cosplay and Founders Base, which provides discounted booths for startups, artists, and indie developers to showcase their products, will likely to continue being the main attractions of the event.
SEA Major, the top fighting game tournament in Southeast Asia, will also return to GameStart. They prepare some game competitions like last years, such as Street Fighter V and Tekken 7. More titles will be announced in the coming months on www.beastapac.com.
The exciting news doesn’t stop here. On its official fan page, GameStart also announced that it will be expanding beyond Singapore shores, and is planning to bring the GameStart experience to gamers in Indonesia later this year! There aren’t any details yet. But, in its press release, Eliphant states that more details will be announced in the coming weeks on its official channels.
The event’s official live stream page, which was broadcasted on Twitch and Facebook Live, has received over 80,000 views online. The inaugural SEA Summit business conference was concluded successfully on October 12 and 13, with gaming scene insights from 46 industry experts across the world.
