BEKRAF Game Prime 2017 Announces its Partnership with Indie Prize!

Will bring the best game of the convention to Hongkong 2018!

The biggest gaming convention in Indonesia BEKRAF Game Prime just announced its partnership with Indie Prize to bring Indonesia’s best game to Casual Connect Asia 2018!

Indie Prize is one of the events where indie developers from all around the world, including from Indonesia, gather and show their games. Besides showing their game, they also compete against each other to get the judges’ attention as well as the Casual Connect’s attendees’. The winner got some prize to increase their productivity, namely game’s engine, vouchers for accessing to some cloud services, and so on.

Today, the biggest gaming convention in Indonesia, BEKRAF Game Prime announced its partnership with Indie Prize. The purpose of this partnership is to bring the best indie game from the convention to Casual Connect Asia 2018, and compete in Indie Prize Showcase competition. The Casual Connect Asia 2018 itself will be held in Hongkong around May 2018.

Indie Prize BEKRAF Game Prime 2017

The submission of the indie games showcase in BEKRAF Game Prime itself closed on June 19, 2017. After the submission ends, the committee will select 50 best indie games to get a booth and showcase their game in this event. Then, the final judging session will be started at BEKRAF Game Prime 2017’s B2C event that will be held on July 29 and 30 at the Balai Kartini, Jakarta.Indie Prize BEKRAF Game Prime 2017

The winner of the judging session will be granted with Indie Prize Scholarship that is worth up to U.S. $1000 (around Rp13 million). This scholarship includes an exclusive pass to the Casual Connect Asia event as well as one spot in the Indie Prize Showcase. Also, this scholarship includes free accommodation in Hongkong while they participate in that event.

Casual Connect is the biggest casual gaming convention in the world that is held annually in four different cities across the world. In this year’s event, Casual Connect Asia 2017 was already held in Singapore on May 16 to 18, 2017.
