One way of supporting a certain political issue can be in a form of something like demonstrations or boycotts. But not for Yusep Maulana, a 22-year-old man from Garut, West Java. He shows his support for Palestine by creating Palestine Freedom, a game for Android.
Palestine Freedom is a game revolving around the condition in Palestine where war occurs between the Palestinian and the Israeli. It is an action strategy game where you must guard against the attack of evil monsters that will destroy the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the city.
What’s also exciting is that in this game, there are no soldiers or fighters from different nations, only monsters. This means that there are no elements of politics whatsoever. Although the gameplay and graphics are not considered as the best, what’s promising is the idea behind the making of the game.
There are more than 15 levels at the moment with more than 10 different evil bosses. You can also purchase currency in the game to buy ammo. The ammo itself is used to fire magical shots at enemies. All the purchases made in the game will be donated to orphanages and to some of the humanitarian missions for Palestine.
