Surprise and memorization will be the key for you to help Timmy postpone his demise, receive inner peace, and dying the way he always wished to. To arrive at home safely, Timmy only has the ability to run, jump and double jump.
Every time Timmy dies, you can learn the cause so that you don’t repeat your mistake again. You should memorize every obstacle’s pattern, go through it, and then fulfill Timmy’s dream to die in peace.
Started as a prototype from game jam
Rage in Peace started out as a prototype made for Indies vs PewDiePie Jam in November 2014. It evolved from a prototype that focuses only on the fun and rage-inducing gameplay, to an experience that tries to tell an emotional story represented in the game mechanics.
“After finished reading a short story by Paulo Coelho, I started to realize that I never thought much about death before in my life,” said Damas Putranto, the director, writer and programmer of Rage in Peace.
“Those thoughts, along with questioning the meaning of life and such, become the main idea for the story of Rage in Peace. Basically, it’s about life and death from the perspective of people during their quarter-life crisis,” he added.
After nearly three months of processing and waiting, finally, Toge Productions can bring home Nintendo Switch dev kit to Indonesia. So, how tough is it to bring the dev kit from overseas?
Rage in Peace is coming this year for PC and Mac. No exact release date yet, but you can wishlist the game from now through the widget below.
