The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Receives Huge Achievements at DICE Awards

Not only The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, there are also a lot of other games that won in the event.


The 21st Design, Innovate, Communicate, Entertain or DICE Awards was recently held. The event which is under The Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences (AIAS) was held on February 22, 2018. The results, well, let’s just say that The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is the best game in 2017.

At this year’s DICE Awards, sixty-eight games were nominated, but only ten games were able to come up with rewards from various categories. Some games received a couple of rewards including The Legend of Zelda: The Breath of the Wild, Hellblade: Senua’s SacrificeUncharted: The Lost Legacy, PLAYERUNKNOWN’S BATTLEGROUNDS, and Super Mario Odyssey.

Usually, we highlight games that are the most fun or most popular. But for now, we will highlight some games that you might not have known were good or even existed!

Lone Echo/Echo Arena

Lone Echo/Echo Arena is a virtual reality game that is developed by Oculus. It is a futuristic game that you play with your team against the competition in a zero-g clash of robotic glory as you glide, boost, and punch your way to scoring goals in a breathtaking virtual arena.

Metroid: Samus Returns

Metroid: Samus Returns is a side-scrolling action game developed for the Nintendo 3DS. The game itself is a reimagining the 1991 series, Metroid II: Return of Samus. Players will have exterminated meteoroids on their home planet of SR388.

Snipperclips

If you own a Nintendo Switch, then you might be familiar with Snipperclips. It is a launch title for the Nintendo Switch itself and was able to attract the hearts of many gamers.

The game is a co-operative multiplayer puzzle game. Players control two characters named Snip and Clip, who each possess shaped bodies that can be rotated in place. You and your friend or friends will then have to cooperatively make solve the mysteries of the puzzle.
