Indonesian publisher, Toge Productions soon will release a dark-themed simulation game, My Lovely Daughter on Steam. What will this game developed by GameChanger Studio tell about?
After surprising gamers with the sudden release of two short interactive stories, Toge Productions is ready to release their first full-fledged game in 2018. My Lovely Daughter is a dark-theme simulation game developed by Tangerang-based GameChanger Studio and is set to release on Steam March 8, 2018 (or March 9 in Indonesia).
A dark story about love, family, and sacrifice
My Lovely Daughter has a dark story and theme. In this game, you portray as Faust who is missing his late daughter. He wants to revive her back, but some of his memory is missing. So, he tries to remember everything and then realized that he is an alchemist.
To revive his daughter, Faust must perform forbidden alchemy experiments to restore her soul. As Faust, you will have to create dozens of homunculi, raise them as if they were your own daughter, build relationships with them, and then sacrifice them to harvest their souls!
You will also need to assign jobs to your homunculi to support your experiments. Sometimes, you should sacrifice their bodies in order to sell their remnants, all to keep your income flowing and your research progressing. Perhaps, along the way, you will even recover your own memories and come to understand how this terrible situation came about.
One of Indonesian’s most anticipated game in 2018
After getting Greenlit status early 2017, GameChanger Studio made some changes to this game. One of their biggest decisions is collaborating with Toge Productions to release this game. My Lovely Daughter will be the second full-fledged game to be released by Toge Productions after last year they made a debut with MagiCat.
We already stated that My Lovely Daughter is one of Indonesian’s (or maybe SEA’s) most anticipated games. This game already grabbed Best Visual Awards in SEA Game Awards 2017. And at the end of the year, the game grabbed another award, as a runner-up in Audience Vote award, Game Development World Championship 2017.
Two Indonesian-made games, Legrand Legacy and My Lovely Daughter successfully grabbed awards in Game Development World Championship 2017 (GDWC 2017)!
