BEKRAF Game Prime 2018 Announces Its Conference’s Speakers and Their Profiles

Here is the list of speakers for BEKRAF Gameprime 2018!


The BEKRAF Game Prime 2018 committee has officially announced its speakers for the Business to Business (B2B) event. It will be the first segment of the event which will be held on Friday, July 13, 2018.

BEKRAF Game Prime 2018 presents you series of sharing sessions from our top local and international speakers. They will be sharing their knowledge and experience based on their expertise. The sessions will be covering business, marketing, design, as well as technical aspects needed in the industry. Now, the BEKRAF Game Prime 2018 speakers have been revealed. Here is the list.

Justin Ng (Managing Director, Gattai Games)

Justin Ng is the managing director for Gattai Games. He focuses on game design and tries to keep the money in the bank. Gattai Games itself is a Singapore-based gaming company behind the game Stifled.

Stifled is the award-winning VR and microphone enabled sound-based horror game where the sound is the only way you can see the enemy. With his experience in the gaming industry, the DigiPen Institute of Technology alumni will share his thoughts on game marketing for indie developers.

Langer Lee (Global Business Director, XFLAG)

The next speaker is Langer Lee. He is the Global Business Director for the Business Development Group in XFLAG, the entertainment arm of Mixi inc. and publisher of Monster Strike. Langer is currently spearheading the global strategy in expanding XFLAG’s presence and looks forward to creating and bringing thrilling battle entertainment to everyone around the world.

During the B2B event, he will be the panelist for “Project Management Guide for Game Developer” topic. Developers definitely do not want to miss out on this.

Arief Widhiyasa (Founder and CEO of Agate)

Arief Widhiyasa is the founder and CEO of Agate. With a vision to be a leading and respected game company with world class standards in Indonesia. The company is growing rapidly and become the local biggest game developer company in Indonesia along with the motto, “Live the Fun Way”.

Arief will share his knowledge on how to optimize your networking, specifically in the gaming industry. He will be sharing alongside Adam Ardisasmita, the CEO and co-founder of Arsanesia.

Adam Ardisasmita (CEO and co-founder of Arsanesia)

Adam Ardisasmita is CEO and co-founder of Arsanesia (mobile game developer) and Arsa Kids (Education game for children). He also becomes Intel Innovator, Google Launchpad Mentor, and Executive Director of Indonesia Game Association who is actively engaging with the game developer community.

As a tech and game writer, Adam has been a contributor for Dailysocial, Codepolitan, Dicoding Academy, and also has been actively sharing his thoughts and experiences on his personal blog, ardisaz.com. As mentioned before, Adam will be sharing a panel with founder and CEO of Agate, Arief Widhiyasa, in the “Optimizing Your Network” segment.

Elizabeth Galuh K. (Associate Producer at Streamline Games)

Elizabeth Galuh Kusumawardhani is the Associate Producer at Streamline Games, an affiliate business division of Streamline Media Group. Under Streamline, Elizabeth has project managed iconic games such as Street Fighter V™ and Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite™.

Right now, her focus is on an original IP for Streamline Games. And when she’s not bossing the games of the future, you can find her bossing a stage behind a guitar and a microphone! Elizabeth will fill in as a speaker for “What to Expect When You Work with Foreign Company” panel with Ian Purnomo.

Ian Purnomo (Public Relations and Developers Relations, Sony Interactive Entertainment)

Gameprime 2018

Ian Purnomo is the Public Relations and Developers Relations lead for PlayStation platform in Southeast Asia region. Prior to working at Sony Interactive Entertainment, Ian had years of experience working in various roles in video games industry.

Including game development (Game Designer in LucasArts), marketing communications in online game publisher (Asiasoft and Cherry Credits) and education (DigiPen Institute of Technology Singapore).

Ian will be a speaker, side-by-side with Elizabeth Galuh, the associate producer at Streamline Games on sharing what to expect working with a foreign company.

Wan Hazmer (CEO/Founder, Metronomik/Ex-Square Enix)

The next one is CEO and founder of Metronomik, Wan Hazmer. Wan has previously worked at Square Enix for seven years and was the game designer of Final Fantasy XV from Malaysia. His company now, Metronomik will create original IPs that seamlessly integrate music with gameplay, a gameplay that he stated will be enjoyable for everyone. But it is not in form of rhythm games.

Square Enix's former game designer, Wan Hazmer has announced his new game studio Metronomik. What kind of game that it will create?

In BEKRAF Gameprime 2018, Wan will share his experience in the “Beautiful & Engaging Game Design” panel.

Ian Gregory (Co-founder, Witching Hour Studios)

Having committed the egregious sin of doing poorly in school as a Singaporean, Ian starting working young and only returned to his studies at 23, receiving a scholarship at the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts. In 2010, his second year there, Ian co-founded Witching Hour Studios with some friends.

Seven years on, Witching Hour has garnered awards and international recognition for their games, Ian has co-founded a new company focused on mobile games — BattleBrew Productions, and consults with various companies on design, events, and Kickstarters.

Ian will be the moderator for the “What to Expect When You Work with Foreign Company” session with Elizabeth and Ian Purnomo.

Brian Fan (Co-Founder, Mfun)

Brian brings 20 years of executive management in sales and marketing with top companies in the Enterprise Tech industry such as SAP, Hitachi Data Systems, Fujitsu and Veritas Technologies. He is now building new blockchain platform that will bring more value to Indonesian gamers and local game developers.
