Schedule for the 2018 Asian Games eSports competition is officially up. Arena of Valor and Pro Evolution Soccer 2018 will highlight the weekends.
After an exhilarating eSports exhibition, the schedule for the 2018 Asian Games eSports competition was revealed.
There will be two types of event: Team Event and Individual Event. Multiplayer games such as League of Legends, Pro Evolution Soccer 2018, and Arena of Valor will be partaken in the Team Event whilst singleplayer games such as StarCraft II: Legacy of the Void, Hearthstone, and Clash Royale will be in on the Individual Event.
A total of six game competitions will be featured in the event which is co-organized by the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA), Asian Electronic Sports Federation (AESF) and the Indonesia Asian Games Organizing Committee (INASGOC).
The event will kick off with Arena of Valor tournament as a starter on August 26, at 10:00 to 21:30.
The displayed time will be Jakarta Local Timezone (UTC+7). On August 27, there will be Clash Royale tournament started at the same time. Starting on the same day and continuing for the next three days, there will be League of Legends tournament.
On the second day, the tournament begins at 09:00 till 18:45 while it starts from 10:00 till 21:00 on the third day. Lastly, on the August 29, the tournament will start from 11:00 till 18:00. Meanwhile, the Starcraft II tournament will be held on August 30.
All of the events will be finished off with Hearthstone and PES 2018 tournaments on August 31 and September 1, respectively. All of the tournaments will be held at Britama Arena, Mahaka Square, Jakarta.
Arena of Valor officially becomes a tournament in Asian Games 2018 this August. The announcement came from The Indonesian Minister and Youth Affairs representative, Tommy Kurniawan.
