Disney Collaborates with, Ready to Bring Disney Games to Southeast Asia

Another great news comes from The Walt Disney Company. This December, the company announced that it would collaborate with an Indonesian company, to bring some Disney Games to Southeast Asia.

This is the second collaboration that Disney has made for the past six months. Last October, it also announced its debut title with Singaporean developer GoGame. They both released a new casual mobile game called Disney Epic Quest that features some Disney and Pixar characters.

The collaboration between The Walt Disney Company Southeast Asia and will last for a year. They will bring a collection of titles to Southeast Asia that will feature beloved characters from the Disney franchise. The game will be available on the direct-to-play platform starting this month. Source:

According to the official statement,’s CEO, Anton Soeharyo said that the collaboration was his dream came true. “We are delighted to announce this wonderful collaboration with The Walt Disney Company,” said Anton. “Like millions of people all over the world, I am a huge fan of Disney myself. This is a very exciting collaboration, as our blockchain-powered decentralized gaming platform will encourage innovation and bring Disney’s well-loved creative products to the vast PlayGame community,” he continued.

“This collaboration with PlayGame provides more opportunities to bring our beloved characters and stories closer to Southeast Asian fans through high-quality interactive game experiences,” said Je Alipio, Director and Head of Games Commercialization, The Walt Disney Company, Southeast Asia.

Two titles were already announced as the debut titles of this collaboration. First is Mickey’s Delivery Dash, where you must help Mickey to deliver some croissants to Minnie’s cafe before time runs out. Second is Olaf Freeze Fall, where you must help Olaf to look for his missing body parts.

The game is not only accessible for Indonesians. confirms that other five SEA’s countries will be the first wave to enjoy them. They are Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines, and Vietnam. More countries will be announced on the later date.

A direct-to-play platform from industry veteran is an HTML 5 game platform developed by some industry veterans. This platform is led by Anton Soeharyo, the former CEO of Touchten Games, one of the leading mobile game developers in Indonesia.

This brand new platform can be accessed from desktop and mobile. Using the blockchain technology, this platform introduces a new way for developers to monetize their content and players to get the benefit from it.
