GCA 2019 Delegation Profile: Wisageni Studio

By Febrianto Nur Anwari

In GCA 2019, Wisageni will bring two of its titles: a F2P mobile game called Pirate Mobile War and one unannounced title.

Besides Bandung, Yogyakarta is one of the cities in Indonesia that have many creative talents. There are several indie game studios locating in that region, focusing on either its own IP or doing some services. Wisageni Studio is one of the studios which focus on mobile game development and 2D/3D art outsourcing services.

Wisageni Studio started with creating web browser games. It consists of 3 founders with more than 6 years experiences in game and animation industry. Currently, the company is focusing on creating and publishing games in mobile platforms such as Indonesian Google Play Store for the locals and Tizen Store for a wider target market.

Currently, the studio is working on its multiplayer mobile game, Pirate Mobile War.

“From the last year’s success story, we think that Game Connection America’s (GCA) format is different than other conferences that we’ve participated before,” said Vania Marita, the Co-founder of Wisageni Studio.

“GCA focuses more on its matching system, and the event is going to be held almost at the same time with Game Developer Conference. As we know, the US is one of the game industry centers. So, we think that we can get more knowledge and experience by participating in this event,” he continued.

For GCA 2019, Wisageni Studio will bring two titles. The first is Pirate Mobile War, a free-to-play mobile game planned for iOS and Android release. Pirate Mobile War is a casual action-RPG with the real-time multiplayer battle: PvP and War Mode, targeting male audiences aged 7+. Players can explore the ocean with lots of quests and fight occasional boss raid events (PvE).

The game is in the production phase, and the company is looking for a mobile game publisher to publish this game.

The second title is its brand new title which hasn’t been announced yet.

BEKRAF and AGI Will Bring Indonesian Games to Participate in Game Connection America 2019

BEKRAF and AGI have announced that they will, once again, bring the Archipelageek initiative to Game Connection America 2019 (GCA 2019) next month.

“In GCA 2019, we will do some networking and look for a global publishing partner and an external development service. We are hoping that we can follow in the footsteps of last year’s participants in gaining success,” she ended.
