Another great news came for one Indonesian mobile game developer. Bandung-based studio Arsanesia reported that it has entered into an agreement with one of the South Korean educational game developers, Minglecon Co., Ltd.
The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing happened at the ‘2019 Challenge Market in Indonesia’ event at Union Space, North Jakarta. This event was successfully held on April 24-25 2019 by Gyeonggi Content Agency (GCA) to bridge South Korean businesses that were interested in developing their business in Indonesia.
The agreement with Minglecon was established on the basis of their common vision and passion in the field of education, and both parties saw a lot of potential in working together to co-develop and promote educational games in Indonesia, Korea, and international markets.
“I am so glad that both companies have the same aims – to help and encourage children to have better lives,” said Helen, the CEO of Minglecon as stated in the official press release. It is an important start for mutual companies to expand the market globally together. Both companies unique characteristics can bring synergy effects in business with each other in the short term and long term. Hopefully mutual business can start sooner. It is a great pleasure to work together,” she continued.
Same as Helen, Arsanesia CEO Adam Ardisasmita stated his enthusiasm with this new collaboration. “Arsa Kids has a focus on advancing education with global standard technology,” he stated on the press release. “South Korea is a country that has a very advanced quality educational technology, especially for children. With the collaboration of two studios that have expertise in the field of educational technology for these children, I hope in the future we can make a product that has a wider impact both in Indonesia and Korea, as well as globally,” he continued.
After funding Touchten Games, Toge Productions, and DUNIAKU Network, DNC continues its investment in the Indonesian game industry through Arsanesia.
Arsa Kids itself is a subsidiary brand from Arsanesia. It was established since 2016 and focused on mobile pre-school educational games to help modern parents and their children learn together. One of Arsa Kids’ product, Learn With Pippo is already available in Google Play Store.
