Gamescom 2019 will be held this August. And starting from this article, we introduce you to 10 Indonesian companies who will participate in this event under Archipelageek program from BEKRAF and AGI.
Among ten game companies that will be participating in Gamescom 2019, Everidea Interactive is the youngest one. The studio was established last year, and now it has around 15 employees to date.
Everidea Interactive is an indie game developer which focuses on producing mobile games, AR, and interactive digital installations. This company was founded in 2018 by cross-specialty business practitioners in the digital industry for a mission, which is to give a bigger impact in the field of education, social-cultural, and environment through digital interactive media.
Everidea is experienced in producing its core products for B2B market and co-developing serious games for educational purposes.
Gamescom 2019 will be its second participation in overseas game events under Archipelageek program. Previously, the company also participated in Game Connection America 2019 which was held March 2019.
“From Game Connection America 2019, we got some networking with UK and Korea game companies,” said Hendra Araji, CEO of Everidea Interactive. “They want to know us more because they need service partners for their mobile games,” he continued.
For Gamescom 2019, Everidea Interactive will bring one of its flagship title for mobile, Day One. Day One will tell a life story of a 28-year-old character named Jamie. Jamie who is also a singer/songwriter owns a vinyl store. But in this game, Jamie just had a breakup with his girlfriend, Jazz, for an inexcusable reason.
There are 4 main endings that can be chosen by the player by clicking the options during gameplay, based on your decision as Jamie in dealing with your heartbreak moment.
Ten Indonesian game companies will exhibit their latest product at Gamescom 2019. Not only that, they will also expand their network to European market.
Arazi also told us about Everidea’s target in Gamescom 2019. “In Gamescom 2019 we want to expand our network to Europe market and searching a publisher for our mobile game, Day One,” he ended.
