Not only game developers, but one of the Indonesian game publishers will also take part in Archipelageek Gamescom 2019. It is Megaxus Infotech who will be the one and only Indonesian game publisher to participate in this Europe’s biggest game event.
Megaxus Infotech (Megaxus) is a leading game company in Indonesia and Southeast Asia with more than 13 years experience in the gaming industry, 22,5+ million PC online and Mobile games registered users. Megaxus Infotech is also recorded as one of Indonesian biggest game publishers to date which is known from some of its rhythm and shooter games.
Within its 13 years of experience, Megaxus has launched 11 PC online games and 7 mobile games, established strong technical gaming infrastructure, partnerships and alliance with various tech companies and gained the trust of its stakeholders. Some of Megaxus’ popular titles in Indonesia are Audition AyoDance, Counter-Strike Online, SD Gundam Online, and Lineage II.
Gamescom 2019 will be its second participation for this year’s Archipelageek. Last March, it also took part in Archipelageek program which exhibited in Game Connection America 2019 in San Fransisco, US.
“From Game Connection America we expanded our networking with global game companies, especially from the US and Latin America,” said Felix Darmoko, Brand Manager and Overseas Business Development of Megaxus. “Besides that, we also got some game publishing potential deals,” he continued.
Different from other delegates, Megaxus will not bring any single game in this event. It offers total solutions for its potential partners such as games development, payment solutions, business process outsourcing services (including community management, customer service, marketing/user acquisitions, offline events, eSports tournaments, localization, 2D/3D design, QA and other services.
Indonesian games will reach the global market through Europe's biggest game convention, Gamescom 2019 with the support from Archipelageek program.
Later on, Felix said that they wanted to be part of Indonesian pavilion in Gamescom 2019 to introduce Indonesian game industry’s potential to the world, especially to the Europe game companies. “We also want to expand our network with them and also with Europe game association,” he ended.
