Since the rise of mobile games, there are several Indonesian game studios that only focus on developing mobile games for Android and iOS. One of them is Touchten Games, a Jakarta-based studio that was established in 2009 and has 35 employees to date.
Touchten Games is an award-winning, data-driven mobile games company focusing on women gamers in tier 1 markets. Touchten Games consists of some of the most sought after game experts in Southeast Asia, responsible for developing hit games for women audiences in the US and Europe.
Having 10 years of experience in game development, Touchten participated in several international game events such as GDC, Casual Connect, Tokyo Game Show, China Joy, and Pocket Gamer Hong Kong. “From those events, we’ve got several publishing deals and strategic partnership,” said Rokimas Soeharyo, the CEO of Touchten Games.
In Gamescom 2019, Touchten will introduce its ongoing project called My Pet Cafe. My Pet Cafe is a puzzle game for pet lovers where they can find the world’s cutest and most sought after pets in the entire match 3 games market. You become the host of the most charming, ever-growing pet cafe, and become the most successful pet cafe owner in the world. The game will be combined with deep social gameplay.
“In our latest title My Pet Cafe, we are giving our best to cater to the underserved women audiences in tier 1 markets. Featuring the most lovable pets in the entire puzzle genre, combined with an exciting new match3 puzzle gameplay, place My Pet Cafe in a great position to be the next big hit of the genre,” he continued.
Indonesian games will reach the global market through Europe's biggest game convention, Gamescom 2019 with the support from Archipelageek program.
Gamescom 2019 will be their first participation in Europe’s biggest game event. “In Gamescom 2019, we want to work with savvy publishers and investors to massively scale our game, focusing on the intersection of pet lovers and puzzle game fans. We are seeking partners who are interested in the growing women gamers space,” he ended.
